Solano Serenity Center

It is the mission of the Solano County LGBTQ Resource Center, to promote the acceptance and well-being of the LGBTQ communities in the Solano, Napa, Sonoma, and Marin Counties.

The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide an educational resource center and a safe haven for those who identify as Lesbian, Gay. Bi-Sexual. Transgender, or Gender Queer (Questioning).

This special TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBERANCE event is not only an important human rights issue that needs special attention here in Solano county, but it’s also an honor for our Coalition to have this event be the launch for World AIDS Day 2014 – BREAKING THE SILENCE series of enlightening and thought provoking conversations.

NOVEMBER 22, 2014

3:30 to 5:00 PM – VIP Pre-show meet and greet with our Special Guest Scott Turner Schofield. VIP ticket is $25.00 to include admission to main event and a commemorative glass with wine and h’orderves.

5:00 – 5:30 PM – Welcome and introductions (General Admission $10.00)

5:30 – 6:30 PM – Guest Speaker Scott Turner Schofield.

6:30 – Migration to City hall for the Candlelight Vigil with reading of the names.

7:00 – 7:05 – Candlelight Prayer by Dawn Roginski

7:05 – 8:30 – Reading of the names and candles lit

8:30 – Thank you everyone for your support and belief in making this world a better and safe place for all!!are working extremely hard to raise awareness and change the statistics and lack of services in Solano County.
